    Pros +

    • I love how well-planned the interior of the room is. Everything is easy to access. The staff downstairs are nice and very presentable. It's very clean too. The smell of the hotel if good too.
    • We loved this hotel. It was perfectly tucked away in a quieter area while being close to everything at the same time. The rooms are extremely spacious and comfortable while offering a beautiful atmosphere and design aesthetic. The check in process was very easy, and the staff were so friendly. We also booked the room that came with the rooftop section and we loved spending time up there as a family.
    • 5min from Ryogoku station. 1 min walk to Lawson. 2min walk from 711.

    Cons -

    • I have to go downstairs to get my breakfast. It would also be nice if there were an option to choose no sauce or with sauce for the breakfast sandwich. The mustard didn’t go well with the sandwich.
    • Everything exceeded our expectations
    • Not many restaurants open around it during the evening.

Cleanliness, quiet, and located near many retail stores and restaurants.

    9Chi-sanPosted on: 10-31-2025

Clean and very spacious for Japan. Lovely staff and amenities

A little bit far from a metro station to get around.

    8MaluPosted on: 10-15-2025

6-8 minute walk to Ryogoku Station

The room didn’t have anywhere for luggage and that’s considering that we packed light

    9RicardoPosted on: 10-13-2025

Very modern rooms, the bunk beds really make the space feel much bigger and welcoming.

    Shower area was quite small

AC was leaking and not working properly. A proper resolution was not provided.

Coffee at the reception. Really good. Nice and friendly personal. Very good location.

The rooms are quite small. It is generally clean but a bit dusty in the corners.

The staff were all super friendly and helpful! <3Ryogoku is a fantastic district, it is clean, historically and culturally rich, but also modern enough to cater for all your needs. Beautiful parks, interesting sites, and amazing food choices all around, from the little food bars by the tracks, to the tourist info centre between the station and the Kokugikan, and the independent restaurants dotted around the place. We loved every minute spent in Ryogoku.A short 5-6 minutes walk away from the station. Most (if not all?) rooms are overlooking the river, and on good days the rooftop bar is a great spot to eat your takeout dinner and have a few drinks with your family/group/friends. There are at least 5 convenience stores (both chains and independent) all around, within 2-5 minutes walk of the hotel.Free to use washing machine/dryer on 4th floor with English instructions. I would say the downside is that there is only one machine for the whole hotel, but we managed to use it twice in 10 days without having to wait for anyone, so I cannot call it an inconvenience. There is a little magnetic whiteboard to write your room number and finish time on so others know when to come back if they want to get on the next round. A very elegant and friendly solution.Kitchenette in the room was perfect for longer stay, we cooked breakfast every morning before heading out to ensure our fussy kids got at least one full meal in at the start of the day. Likewise you can knock up a quick dinner or warm up your takeout any time. Small fridge enough for a family of four for a week, it was even too big for what we needed.Separate toilet and bathroom so the family can coexist easily. Very good shower pressure, great quality water (your skin and hair will know the difference).

Nothing. The place was great, loved it, if we come back to Ryogoku we will stay here again!

Clean rooms and quite a great location away from all the busy streets, but close enough to get to the station and local restaurants. Staff were warm and friendly. Will be back.

Location is good, in a quiet area but walking distance you plenty of restaurants locally, rain station is also on a 10 min walk. Rooms are modoern, cafe downstairs was very convenient, great simple snacks and coffee

Rooms could be a little bigger but in scale of everywhere else.

    9ToddPosted on: 4-5-2025

Rooms are small but for a short stop over it worked well. The shower was excellent as were the staff.

    7SharonPosted on: 4-1-2025

    Staff are super friendly

They don’t clean your room only after 3 nights of stay. Breakfast was the same three days in a raw (only 2 cold options available). No water dispensers.

    9TeresaPosted on: 3-31-2025

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The room is close to a train station and lots of restaurant's.

There were no instructions on how to operate room temperature so was a little warm for a few days. Notified staff first person didn't fix it but the second girl very helpful came to our room and fixed it. The room was small but that is the norm for Tokyo.

Amazing location just min away from many local stations clean and updated

Rooms are a bit small don’t be fooled by the pictures. But is normal for Japan. Just make sure the space fits your needs but other than that it was ok. Just a bit pricey for the overall stay.

right next to Sumo stadium. great barista coffee

small room for the 4 of us but was very cheap for a new build hotel

    9MelaniePosted on: 2-21-2025

location was perfect, easy walk to some sights & main train stations ( great view ) & Overall Vibe & staff brilliant

The large TV blocked the view a little & it might have been nice to have an English channel to watch, but other was very happy would stay again

Fantastic location close to the transit and right off the river path. The Ryogoku area offered enjoyable walks and interesting culture, along with many great restaurants. The staff was friendly and the coffee was delicious. They even had a thoughtful cooler of Japanese craft beers, which was a nice surprise. My family enjoyed our stay very much and we would highly recommend it!

    9CarlaPosted on: 1-30-2025

Fantastic design, like a tiny home it packs a lot into a small footprint. Really great design with double bed on bottom and single bunk on top, and the window lounge made a comfortable fourth bed. The room had everything you need and lots of mod cons. Close to river, was easy to walk to other areas and get to from airport. Nice and quiet area but plenty packed into the nearby streets.

Not as many train lines as in some other areas but still easy to get to places.
